X Library (formerly X to Markdown) stores posts you actively save and posts imported from your own bookmarks and likes in the extension’s local IndexedDB. Records may include post text, author names and handles, dates, source URLs, media links and source/tag annotations. UI preferences, synchronization progress and account/source incremental boundaries are stored locally in the browser.

Bookmark and like synchronization begins only when you request it. Background imports temporarily read your current x.com session identity and CSRF cookie in memory to request your own bookmarks and likes directly from x.com. The authentication cookie is checked only for its presence; values are not retained, logged, exported or sent to a product server. X receives normal authenticated requests under its own privacy practices. Post content, post URLs and browsing history are not uploaded to a product server.

The extension downloads public X client metadata and request-verification material from abs.twimg.com. Downloaded scripts are parsed as text data and are never executed. A one-time browser alarm may resume a task you started after X rate limiting; manually pausing or stopping cancels that retry. There is no periodic automatic collection in this release.

Requested image exports download images from X’s image servers. X receives normal requests under its own privacy practices. Exported documents may retain remote media URLs; opening them in a reader can make further network requests. Videos are preserved as source links and covers, not downloaded video files.

Your library stays in your browser until you delete records, clear extension data or uninstall the extension. Exports, JSON backups and notes written to a selected Obsidian vault remain in the locations you choose until you delete them. Extension deletion does not remove separately saved files. Your vault or backup folder may be synchronized by services you configure independently.

No analytics, advertising, sale of personal data, payment or activation service is included in this release. Information is used only for the requested collection, organization, synchronization and export features. Only save and reuse content you are authorized to access.

扩展从 abs.twimg.com 下载 X 官方公开客户端元数据和请求验证材料，将下载脚本作为文本数据解析，不执行远程脚本。限流后可用一次性闹钟恢复你已开始的任务；手动暂停或停止会取消恢复，本版本不进行周期自动采集。

图片导出会访问X图片服务器；导出文件若保留远程媒体地址，阅读器打开时可能发起网络请求。视频只保留链接和封面。选定的目录、Obsidian仓库若被你配置的其他服务同步，按这些服务自己的规则处理。

文章库记录可在库内删除；清除扩展数据或卸载扩展可删除本地存储。单独导出的文件、备份和Obsidian笔记需在对应位置自行删除。卸载扩展不会自动删除这些文件。
